Connect Google
With Google connected, the agent can read your emails, events, documents, spreadsheets and presentations, and write with your approval.
Connect your account
Section titled “Connect your account”- Go to Customize (in the sidebar) and open Connectors.
- On Discover, find Google and click the + on its card.
- The Google screen opens. Pick your company account and authorize.
- Back in nouter, Google shows up under Yours. It works in any conversation, with no re-authorizing.
Choose what the agent can see
Section titled “Choose what the agent can see”When you connect, the window shows Resources to enable. Turn off anything you don’t want to share:
- Gmail Mailbox: read email and, with approval, send or manage messages, drafts and labels.
- Google Doc and Google Spreadsheet: read and edit the ones you choose.
- Google Slides Presentation: read the one you choose and, with your approval, edit its text and speaker notes, and copy, move, or delete slides.
- Google Drive: all of your Drive, one folder or a single file, picked in one place. The agent can search and read the files there, including the text of PDFs (a scanned PDF has no text to read). It only sees what you picked: with a folder, the files inside it.
- Google Calendar: read and manage one calendar.
- Google Tasks: all your task lists. The agent reads them and, with your approval, creates, edits, completes, moves or deletes tasks and lists. Because they’re personal, a project using it can’t be shared.
- Google Chat Account, Google Chat Conversation and Google Chat Thread: read and post in the company chat.
- BigQuery: query the data in a Google Cloud project. It is for technical people.
If you connected Google before Tasks was available, Google asks you once for access to your tasks to add it.
If you connected Drive before October 24, 2026, Google asks you once to allow “see and download” your Drive files: it’s what lets the agent read PDFs. It still only sees what you picked.
You can change what the agent sees at any time. See Disconnect an account.
